Gillian Robertson is a Canadian mixed martial artist (MMA). She currently competes in the Flyweight division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Her personal MMA record is 11-7-0 (W-L-D).
Gillian Elizabeth Robertson was born on May 17, 1995, in Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada. She started cardio kickboxing training at the age of 16 at American Top Team. She then joined MMA classes after a few months and started competing two years later.
Gillian Robertson is a Black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, but also practiced Kickboxing.

Gillian Robertson, also known by her nickname “The Savage”, started her MMA career with amassed a record of 9–1 in amateur fights. She fought at Combat Night, Goddess of War, Rise of a Warrior, and Bahamas Open Martial Arts Championship events.
MMA debut
Gillian Robertson made her professional MMA debut on March 11, 2016. She lost to Hannah Goldy at the Square Ring Promotions – Island Fights 37 via unanimous decision.
Early MMA career
After her debut, Gillian Robertson continues her MMA career in different promotions and events.
On August 13, 2016, she fought versus Monica Medina at the FFI – Blood and Sand 20 and won via unanimous decision.
On October 22, 2016, Gillian Robertson achieved another win versus Miki Rogers at the AF 29 – Atlas Fights 29 via armbar submission.
On November 19, 2016, she had another professional MMA fight, which was her fourth for the year. She fought versus Cynthia Calvillo at the GKO 8 – Global Knockout 8, but lost via unanimous decision.
On May 13, 2017, Gillian Robertson achieved her third professional win versus Hannah Cifers at the NLFC – Next Level Fight Club 7 via rear-naked choke submission.
UFC career
After fighting in five professional bouts Gillian Robertson participated in The Ultimate Fighter 26 UFC TV MMA competition series and was subsequently signed by the UFC after the show. In the preliminary fights, she faced Barb Honchak and lost the fight via TKO in the second round.
On December 1, 2017, Gillian Robertson made her UFC debut on The Ultimate Fighter 26 Finale against Emily Whitmire. She won the fight via armbar submission in round one.
On May 27, 2018, she fought versus Molly McCann at the UFC Fight Night 130 – Thompson vs. Till and won the bout via rear-naked choke submission in Round 2.
On September 22, 2018, Gillian Robertson lost to Mayra Bueno Silva at the UFC Fight Night 137 – Santos vs. Anders via armbar submission in the first round.
On February 23, 2019, she had a bout versus Veronica Macedo at the UFC Fight Night 145 – Blachowicz vs. Santos and won via rear-naked choke submission in Round 2.
On July 27, 2019, she fought versus Sarah Frota at the UFC 240 – Holloway vs. Edgar, winning via TKO (Elbows) in the second round.
On October 18, 2019, she lost to Maycee Barber at the UFC on ESPN 6 – Reyes vs. Weidman via TKO (Elbows and Punches) in Round 1.
On June 20, 2020, Gillian Robertson faced Cortney Casey at the UFC on ESPN 11 – Blaydes vs. Volkov. She won the bout via rear-naked choke submission in Round 3.
On October 17, 2020, she fought versus Poliana Botelho at the UFC Fight Night 180 – Ortega vs. Korean Zombie, winning the fight via unanimous decision.
On December 19, 2020, Gillian Robertson lost to Taila Santos at the UFC Fight Night 183 – Thompson vs. Neal via unanimous decision.
On March 27, 2021, she registered another loss to Miranda Maverick at the UFC 260 – Miocic vs. Ngannou 2 via unanimous decision.
On December 11, 2021, Gillian Robertson returned on the winning path after rear-naked choke submission in Round 1 versus Priscila Cachoeira at the UFC 269 – Oliveira vs. Poirier.
On March 12, 2022, she fought versus J.J. Aldrich at the UFC Fight Night 203 – Santos vs. Ankalaev, but lost via unanimous decision.
On September 17, 2022, Gillian Robertson faced Mariya Agapova at the UFC Fight Night 210 – Sandhagen vs. Song. She won the fight via rear-naked choke technical submission in the second round.
